A to Z Broadband started up in Early May of 2004. The company had started up originally as a wireless internet company looking to venture out into the uncharted territories of wireless broadband, or Wi-Fi, with the intent to have a large, local, internet presence for the wireless market. We had several towers in northern Florida and had tremendous success with our service. But we ceased operations in February of 2005. The technology was not there and the support and demand for the services had not evolved yet, so we pursued dial-up internet. Dial-up internet is a wonderful tool, proving to be more valuable than wireless broadband. With dedicated redundant telephony networks nationwide, we'd discovered that our dialer program proved to be a tried and true tool of internet access anywhere in the USA. In addition to the efficiency of dial-up internet, A to Z Broadband enhanced this experience with the acquisition of our SlipStream dial-up accelerator. This simulates transmission speeds up to 700% faster than average dial-up usage statistics with any other major ISP. In addition to gaining SlipStream, A to Z Broadband also upgraded our service with in-house servers on Cox Cable OC3 connections providing all of our customers with an on-line email service better than probably any other company out there. We utilize CPanel for our hosting environment and all the high-tech features that come with it. All of our customers receive Anti-virus and Spam protection, and 10MB of inbox storage space. Our service and the attributes which contribute to its success can only be a benchmark for years to come in the Dial-up Internet Industry.
